The Winchester Center Historical Association is located in the “Old Academy” at the intersection of Route 263 and Chapel Hill Road in Winchester Center, Connecticut.

The museum is open during the summer during local events such as the Grange Strawberry Festival, the Grange Fair and Winchester Center Day.


Mission Statement of Winchester Center Historical Association

The purposes of the Winchester Center Historical Association are to preserve the historic village center, which is the primary settlement in the Town of Winchester, and to promote and encourage historical and antiquarian investigations relating to the Town of Winchester, Connecticut, with particular emphasis on Winchester Center.

The Winchester Center Historical Association is a nonprofit, nonsectarian association independent of the Church and any other historical society.
